Mike Leach is probably as close to a “loose cannon” as it comes in college football. It’s not because his temper boils over all the time, but because he’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind.

He’s become the most quotable head coach in America.

Leach lived up to that standard on Friday night after No. 16 Washington State pulled off a 30-27 upset win over No. 5 USC in Pullman. After the victory, Cougar fans stormed the field to celebrate the big win. In an interview on SportsCenter moments after the conclusion of the game, Leach was asked to describe the environment.

The response was absolutely priceless.

That’s certainly a quote you’ll hear for the rest of the season.

Washington State had reason to party like they were at Woodstock after the victory. The Cougars are now 5-0 on the season an could move into the top 10 after knocking off the Trojans.

If Washington State keeps winning, the incredible quotes from Leach will keep coming.
