Taron Vincent is heading to the East-West Shrine Bowl. Vincent was one of three players from around the country to officially accept his invite on Friday.
Much like the Reese’s Senior Bowl, the East-West Shrine Bowl is an opportunity for seniors to showcase their talents to NFL teams. The Shrine Bowl has been around since 1925 and benefits Shriners Children’s and its mission.
Vincent will be a welcome addition to the game. Vincent capped off his senior campaign at Ohio State with 23 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 fumble recovery. Vincent played a part in the Ohio State run defense this season, which allowed 119.9 yards per game on the ground.

Other players who accepted their invites on Friday include UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson and ASU DT Nesta Jade Silvera.
Ohio State fans can watch the East-West Shrine Bowl on Feb. 2, 2023. The game will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
