It looked like the Iowa Hawkeyes were going to drive down and score to open the second half. However, the Michigan State Spartans’ defense had other ideas.
Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley stepped up in the pocket, avoiding the rush inside Michigan State’s 10 yard line. He attempted a throw, however, it slipped out of hands and the Spartans pounced on the loose ball.

That was Michigan State’s first fumble recovery on defense this year.
