John Beilein went on social media Tuesday to give his best regards to the Michigan football team as they prepare for the College Football Playoff. Beilein coached Michigan basketball from 2007-2019.

Michigan made it into the Playoff after beating Purdue in the B1G Championship. The Wolverines will be facing TCU in a No. 2 vs. No. 3 matchup.

Here’s what Beilein had to say to the football team:

“I am not a football coach but I believe I do know about successful teams. This Michigan football team is truly special because they are a team! They keep improving because I sense they are really connected on and off the field. THE TEAM, THE TEAM, THE Team! Let’s win it all!”

Michigan has a chance to avenge last season’s loss to Georgia in the CFP semifinal. The Bulldogs won that game by a score of 34-11.

Michigan plays TCU on Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.
