Look: Penn State’s defense is dominant in the first quarter

The Penn State Nittany Lions currently have the 13th total defense in all of college football. However, their defense has been more dominant then just that.
On the year, Penn State has yet to give up a single point in the first quarter.

The Nittany Lions are the only team in FBS to not allow a point in the first 15 minutes of a game.
Penn State will continue its defensive dominance this Saturday when it takes on the Northwestern Wildcats at noon E.T. on ABC.
