Markus Allen must have had a change of heart.

The Wisconsin redshirt freshman wide receiver initially entered his name into the transfer portal and committed to Minnesota. However, on Wednesday Allen decommitted from the Gophers. He removed his name from the portal Thursday afternoon.

That’s big news for the Badgers and new head coach Luke Fickell. Allen has not lit the world on fire by any means, but he has the potential to be a strong player for Wisconsin down the road.

In 2022 Allen totaled 7 receptions for 91 yards and 1 touchdown. He had 3 receptions for 65 yards his freshman season.
