Michael Van Buren, 4-star QB via class of 2024, keeps 3 B1G programs in top 8

Michael Van Buren, a key quarterback via the 2024 recruiting class, has dropped his top-8 schools following his junior season.

Van Buren is rated as a 4-star prospect and the No. 102 player in the class according to 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings. He is also rated the No. 8 QB prospect in the country for teh class of 2024.

Hailing from Maryland, he has the Terrapins in the list as well as two other B1G schools, Penn State and Wisconsin. Miami (Fl), Oklahoma, Oregon, Virginia Tech and Cincinnati are the other programs listed.

We will see how Van Buren’s recruitment shapes up and if the coaching changes this offseason play a role in his eventual decision. For now, he’s a QB prospect that would bring a boost to whichever program he selects.
