Jalen Hood-Schifino could see the court for the first time in three games as Indiana and Arizona go head to head on Saturday.

CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported that per a school spokesman, a determination on the guard’s status will be made Saturday afternoon after Schifino “tests things out at shoot around this morning.”

Schifino has been dealing with a back injury that has kept him out of the two previous matchups against Nebraska and Rutgers.

Schifino is a valuable piece of Indiana’s puzzle, averaging 8.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 4.1 APG for the Hoosiers this season.

Schifino joined the Hoosiers as a consensus 5-star recruit per the 247Sports Composite and was the highest ranked B1G recruit of the 2022 class. The Hoosiers will be looking to prove themselves once again against another top ranked opponent in Arizona.

Tipoff between Indiana and Arizona will be live from Las Vegas at 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
