Iowa faces off against Wisconsin at 6:30 p.m. in Iowa City. Both teams are on the cusp of being ranked and have had strong starts to the season, with Iowa sitting at a comfortable 7-2 on the year.
A big reason why is junior forward Kris Murray, who played the first 8 games of the season before missing Iowa’s last game against Iowa State with a lower body injury.
According to a school spokesperson, via CBS’ Jon Rothstein, Murray is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Badgers, too.
Iowa’s Kris Murray (lower body) is OUT for tonight’s game against Wisconsin, per a school spokesman. DNP in last game. Averages 19.4 PPG and 10.1 RPG.

Murray’s 19.4 points per game leads the team by a considerable margin. He’s also the best rebounder for the Hawkeyes and, as stated above, is averaging a double-double on the young season.
To say the least, this is a huge scratch for the Hawkeyes.
