Rakim Jarrett spoke at Maryland’s presser on Tuesday leading up to the bowl game against N.C. State. The Maryland WR talked about what his plans are for next season.

Jarrett is planning on forgoing the Duke’s Mayo Bowl to prepare for the 2023 NFL Draft. Jarrett played in 28 games as a whole for the Terps and had 1,552 yards receiving with 10 touchdowns. Jarrett was very thankful for his time with Maryland football.

“I’ve made bonds and relationships that will last a lifetime. It was an honor to represent Maryland. I came here and was a part of the turnaround. I know Coach Locksley is a DMV guy and he’s the right guy for the job. With all of that being said I will be entering the 2023 NFL Draft.”

Maryland faces the Wolf Pack without their starting QB Devin Leary. Leary entered the portal on Dec. 5 and plans to use his final year of eligibility elsewhere.

Kickoff between the Terps and Wolf Pack will be on Dec. 30 at noon ET on ESPN.
