Dawand Jones thought that his final game for Ohio State was the loss to Michigan. After hearing Ohio State’s name called for the College Football Playoff, he knew he would get at least one more shot.
At Wednesday’s presser he said that he is glad to have another opportunity to finish his Ohio State career strong.

But his next game won’t be an easy one.
Jones and the Buckeyes will have to take on the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, who have looked outstanding so far this season. Jones is sure to give it his all in the playoff, as he has spent four years with the Buckeyes and wants to go out on a positive note.
The Buckeyes will also get a chance to take on Michigan again if they can defeat the Bulldogs. Michigan plays TCU on the other side of the Bracket. It would only be fitting for the senior offensive lineman to get one last shot at the Wolverines.
Dawand Jones said he thought the Michigan game would have been his final game as a Buckeye if Ohio State hadn’t made the College Football Playoff. He’s glad to have another opportunity to finish his Ohio State career strong.
