George Kittle dominated the Seattle Seahawks secondary on Thursday Night Football in the San Francisco 49ers 21-13 win. The 49ers clinched the NFC West and a spot in the playoffs with the win.
Kittle finished the game with 4 receptions for 93 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. At the end of the day, Kittle was just as happy to clinch the division in such a tough environment per Seahawks.com:
“Well first off, this stadium and these fans, they’re fantastic. You feel their hate and you just got to love it. Our 49ers fans, we hate them and they hate us. But it’s fantastic atmosphere. It’s always so loud. The fans bring it every single time. Being able to win here means a lot. I really learned that when I played with Joe Staley and he would talk about how hard it is to win here. He’s had big games here where he’s won, he’s had big games where he’s lost. I just kind of channel my Joe Staley energy tonight. Definitely thought about that.”
San Francisco is now 10-4 on the season. Kittle and his teammates will return home on Christmas Eve to face the Washington Commanders next.
Kickoff from Levi’s Stadium will be at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
