Brad Underwood mentioned how Luke Goode is doing at Friday’s presser. Goode suffered a broken foot earlier this season and has been recovering ever since.
Underwood stated that Goode has been doing some light running on the underwater treadmill as of late. Goode’s also been using the elliptical machine as well. Another follow-up with Goode will take place after Christmas.
Goode averaged 2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game last season for the Fighting Illini. Goode was a former 4-star SF from the 2021 class per the 247Sports Composite and was supposed to have a larger role with the team this year.

Goode has not played in a game for the Fighting Illini yet this season. Illinois is 7-3 through 10 games so far with losses to Penn State, Maryland, and Virginia.
Next up is Alabama A&M. The Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country at forcing turnovers and will not be an opponent for Illinois. The Fighting Illini are at home once again after the recent loss to Penn State.
Tipoff is Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on BTN.
