Jalen Hood-Schifino was dressed for warmups close to tipoff on Saturday. Indiana could be back with one of its key players against Kansas on Saturday after he has been dealing with a back injury.

Hood-Schifino has been an integral part of Indiana’s squad so far this season. He’s averaging 8.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists, though he has missed significant time with the back injury.

Hood-Schifino came into Indiana as a 5-star CG from the 2022 class according to the 247Sports Composite and the No. 23 player in the nation. If he is able to get healthy, he is sure to have a great impact for Indiana.

The Hoosiers got off to a great start, picking up a win over North Carolina recently, but suffered a loss to unranked Rutgers, derailing the hot start. They also lost to Arizona last week. A win over No. 8 Kansas would definitely be a statement win.

The Hoosiers and Jayhawks tip off at noon ET on ESPN2.
