Atlanta Falcons DC carted off the field following pregame collision

Dean Pees was carted off the field ahead of the Atlanta Falcons’ game against the New Orleans Saints. According to reports, the Falcons defensive coordinator was involved in an accidental collision with a Saints player. He is now being transported to the hospital.
The Falcons released a statement on the incident Sunday afternoon.

Here’s the video of the aftermath of the incident.
It appears a member of Falcons staff was just carted off the field. Didn’t see what happened. The person was being attended to by medical staff for a few minutes.

The Falcons and Saints both do not have much to play for at this point in the season. Both are still in the hunt for the playoffs, but very likely will be eliminated in the next few weeks as Detroit and Seattle make their cases for the a spot.
Atlanta has a better chance than New Orleans, however, sitting at 5-8 on the season with 4 games to play.
