Christian Veilleux isn’t going far for his next collegiate destination. After two years with the Penn State Nittany Lions, Veilleux entered the NCAA transfer portal. On Sunday, Veilleux announced on his Twitter page when he will transfer to play for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

In two years at Penn State, Veilleux completed 23-of-35 of his passes for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns. In his biggest season as a Nittany Lion, he completed 16-of-26 of his passes for 238 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Veilleux was a former 3-star high school prospect from Potomac, Maryland in the 2021 recruiting class. He was the 36th-rated quarterback and the 16th-rated prospect from the state of Maryland, according to 247Sports Composite. He had 21 offers to play at the Division I level including Clemson, Indiana, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, and UCLA.
He will transfer to Pittsburgh where he will have 3 more years of eligibility and contend for the starting quarterback position. He joins former Notre Dame and Boston College quarterback Phil Jurkovec as QBs to recently transfer to Pittsburgh.
