Another player from Deion Sanders’ Jackson State team is reportedly now in the transfer portal. ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reported the news on Monday.

Travis Hunter, a former 5-star recruit per the 247Sports Composite out of the 2022 class, has entered the portal. Hunter set social media on fire in 2021 after deciding to go to Jackson State instead of Florida State.

Hunter was the top recruit in his class, position, and state out of high school. Now that Sanders is at Colorado, Hunter must not have seen any reason to stay at Jackson State.

Jackson State finished the season at 12-1 under Sanders before the Tigers’ HC left for Boulder. Sanders coached at Jackson State from 2020-2022 and compiled a 27-6 record while there.

A few players from Jackson State have already followed Sanders and it’s been reported that more may be on the way to Colorado. Stay tuned for more updates about any big news regarding Sanders.

Will Hunter end up following Sanders to Colorado as well?
