Minnesota picked up a commitment from 2023 prospect T.J. McWilliams on Monday. McWilliams broke the news via his Twitter account.

McWilliams is officially a 3-star WR per the 247Sports Composite. Minnesota beat out the likes of Purdue, Ball State, Akron, and Army for McWilliams’ signature. McWilliams comes in at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds.

247Sports currently ranks McWilliams as the No. 16 prospect out of Indiana. The Golden Gophers commit hails from North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indiana was the only other B1G team to send McWilliams an offer other than Purdue and Minnesota.

P.J. Fleck’s 2023 class includes 19 commits and three transfers so far. Minnesota has the 49th overall class for 2023 and the ninth-best class in the B1G.
