Nyckoles Harbor, nation’s top 2023 ATH and B1G target, sets commitment date

Nyckoles Harbor is a 5-star prospect out of Washington, D.C., and the top-ranked Athlete in the class of 2023. On Monday, his official commitment date was announced in a special documentary video.

Harbor has been making his rounds of official visits, making a stop at Maryland on Dec. 9 and visiting Georgia on Dec. 16. Sharpshot recently released a behind-the-scenes look at Harbor’s visit to the Terps with the announcement that Harbor will wait until National Signing Day on Feb. 1 to announce his commitment.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 225 lbs., the 247 Sports Composite Rankings have Harbor as a 5-star prospect and the No. 16 player in the country for the class of 2023. He’s also the top DC prospect and top ATH nationally with projections to play at tight end or defensive on the edge at the next level.

Over the summer, Harbor released a list of his top 7 programs with Maryland and Michigan included from the B1G. USC — headed to the B1G in 2024 — also made the cut alongside Miami (FL), Georgia, LSU and South Carolina.

Regardless of the destination, Harbor looks like a true game-changer at the next level with his combination of size and ultra-elite speed on the field.
