Warde Manuel, Michigan’s athletic director, gave fans an update on the school’s NIL policy and gave a list of collectives that fans and donors can support.
Collectives are set in place to help create a business relationship between athlete and those looking to support athletes through NIL. As people begin to navigate the confusing waters of NIL, these collectives help offer guidance for both athletes and supporters navigating the NIL world.
Manuel pointed those wishing to support athletes to four different collectives; Champions Circle, MGoDAO, Ann Arbor NIL Club and Stadium & Main.
“In keeping with our values and full support of a positive student-athlete experience here at Michigan, we welcome your support of these four organizations and the continued financial support of our partners, fans and supporters in ensuring that Michigan student-athletes continue to be the Leaders and Best,” Manuel said in the email.
The update to NIL policies is sure to have a positive impact on both student athletes and the Michigan program as a whole.
