TJ Hockenson turned in an early Christmas present for Minnesota Vikings fans everywhere on Christmas Eve. He also set a new career-high in the win over the New York Giants.
Looking for win No. 12 on the season, Hockenson went off for a career-high 13 catches on Saturday. He also tied his career-high for touchdowns in a game with 2 while finishing the game with 109 yards receiving.
Hockenson’s second touchdown of the game came in the fourth quarter and was particularly impressive. Hockenson fought through double coverage to come down with a huge contested grab in the end zone.

It is by far Hockenson’s best game as a Minnesota Viking since getting traded away by Detroit. Since landing with the Vikings, it is Hockenson’s first game with double-digit catches or 100 yards receiving.
Now at 12-3 on the season, Hockenson and the Vikings have their sights set on the playoffs with the NFC North title well in hand.
