Dabo Swinney might be the classiest coach in college football.
Following Clemson’s 27-24 loss to Syracuse on Friday night, Swinney could’ve bolted for the locker room, frustrated and trying to avoid the mad rush of Orange fans storming the field. Instead, the Tigers’ head coach sought out Syracuse head coach Dino Babers and congratulated him on the big win.
Though there’s no audio, you can clearly read Swinney’s lips, saying “I’m so happy for you.”

That’s a really classy move for a head coach who just suffered a potentially season-altering loss.
He tends to get animated and excited on the sidelines, but Swinney showed he’s truly a professional, whether it’s after a win or a loss.
