Former fan favorite kicker Joey Julius will return to Beaver Stadium to watch his first Penn State game since last season’s run to the Big Ten Championship.

Julius, who left the program this summer, announced that he will be in attendance for Penn State’s White Out against Michigan on Saturday.

The former Nittany Lion kicker first spoke about his struggle with an eating disorder last October. Then this past spring, he wasn’t with the team for the Blue-White game and in May, he checked into a St. Louis treatment center.

Julius made his name known in Penn State lore after laying down some brutal hits on kickoff returns.
