Another midseason All-America team has been announced, this one coming from the Associated Press.
Several B1G players have received recognition from Sporting News, USA Today, and others for their performance in the first half of the season. The Associated Press named five from the B1G to the midseason team. Two additional players earned second-team recognition.
Earning AP midseason first-team All-American honors:
Offense
- Saquon Barkley, Penn State RB
- David Edwards, Wisconsin OT
- Billy Price, Ohio State C
Defense
- Maurice Hurst, Michigan DL
- Josey Jewell, Iowa LB
Barkley and Jewell have been consensus first-team picks.
Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward and Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor both earned second-team honors.
