Michigan State receiver Trishton Jackson will play against Indiana on Saturday at home, according to receivers coach Terrence Samuel.
Michigan State coach Mike Dantonio wouldn’t comment on the injury, but said it won’t affect Jackson long-term.
A sophomore receiver, Jackson has appeared in all five games this season, starting Michigan State’s first four contests. He ranks fourth on the team with nine receptions for 121 yards (13.4 avg.)
Against Notre Dame, Jackson posted career-highs for receptions (5) and yards (69), averaging 13.8 yards per catch, while also completing a 5-yard pass to Brian Lewerke.
