Malik Elzy, 4-star WR out of Chicago, reveals B1G commitment during All-American Bowl

Malik Elzy announced his commitment at the All-American Bowl on Saturday. Plenty of top prospects are set to reveals their commitments at the event.
Elzy is a 4-star WR from the 2023 class per the 247Sports Composite. Elzy is rated as the No. 43 WR and No. 4 recruit out of Illinois.
The Chicago native won’t be going too far to play college football, as he announced his commitment to Illinois on live TV.

Other schools that showed interest in Elzy were Iowa, Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Auburn. Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin were the other B1G schools to give Elzy an offer.
Elzy will be bringing his 6-foot-2 frame with him to Champaign. Elzy is the second wideout from the 2023 class to commit to the Fighting Illini. Elzy’s commitment means that Illinois now has three 4-star commits and 19 3-star commits.
