Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson grew accustomed to terrorizing defenses as teammates at Ohio State. Though no longer teammates, both wide receivers turned in a strong campaign as rookies in the NFL.
At the conclusion of their Week 18 games, Olave and Wilson ended their rookie seasons with 1,000+ receiving yards. That makes the duo the first set of rookies from one program with 1,000 yards in the same season.

Playing with the New Orleans Saints, Olave ended 2022 with 5 catches for 60 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. That gives him 1,042 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns as a rookie.
For Wilson, he had 9 catches for 89 yards for the New York Jets to bring his rookie totals up to 83 catches for 1,103 yards and 4 touchdowns.
We’ll see what the future holds for these Buckeyes, but they are off to a flying start in the NFL.
