WATCH: Illinois forces a fumble inside Minnesota’s 20 yard line

The Minnesota Golden Gophers had a First and five situation inside their own 20 yard line. They handed the ball to Rodney Smith. However, after gaining five yards, the Illinois Fighting Illini would force the ball out of Smith’s hands and onto the ground, where the Illini would jump on it.

With that fumble, the Illini would score two plays later to tie the game at seven apiece.
