Andrel Anthony made his transfer destination clear on Tuesday afternoon.
The Michigan transfer picked Oklahoma, joining Brent Venables’ team that has had a successful showing in the transfer portal so far.
Anthony, a sophomore wide receiver from East Lansing, Michigan, didn’t have a ton of success in his two seasons with the Wolverines, recording just 19 catches for 328 yards. Anthony had not seen any action since the Wolverines’ Nov. 12 game against Rutgers.
Anthony was a 3-star prospect coming into Michigan according to 247Sports Composite. He was the No. 81 receiver in the nation and the No. 13 overall player in Michigan.
Oklahoma finished the regular season 6-7, but seems to be on the rise as they continue to rake in commits and transfers.
Meanwhile for Michigan, they don’t have to look far to replace Anthony’s production as the Wolverines have the No. 17 recruiting class and the No. 5 transfer class. They also bring back key players like JJ McCarthy and Blake Corum, who were integral to their success in 2022.
