Former Ohio State and Maryland LB Keandre Jones has earned a promotion.

Ian Rapoport announced that the Bengals promoted Jones and DE Raymond Johnson III ahead of their playoff matchup against the Ravens. Jones has appeared in just 1 game in the 2022 season and has not recorded a stat.

Jones originally signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland in the 2020 NFL Draft. Jones was waived before Week 1 of the 2020 season and quickly caught on with the Bengals.

Jones spent 3 seasons at Ohio State in college, mostly playing a reserve role. Jones transferred to Maryland in 2019, where he would have his most effective season.

The Bengals will host the Ravens on Sunday, Jan. 15 at 8:15 pm ET.
