Michigan State names a new starting receiver

Michigan State is making a switch at its starting receiver position. Cody White is now the starter over Trishton Jackson for the Spartans game against Northwestern on Saturday.

White as played in all of Michigan State’s (6-1) seven games this season, posting 11 receptions for 149 yards. Against Indiana last Saturday, White tallied six catches for 99 yards. White is also the team’s No. 1 punt returner.

Jackson didn’t play against Indiana last Saturday, after missing the team’s game against Minnesota the week prior. Jackson has nine catches for 121 yards this season.
