Students are hoping to give Ohio Stadium a special look for the Buckeyes’ Saturday match-up against Penn State.

Over the past few days, the “Block O,” the official student section at Ohio State, has pushed for fans to wear black and create a blackout experience for Saturday’s top 10 showdown.

Tuesday, the student section’s official Twitter account tweeted the plan to “Blackout the Shoe” for the game.

Ohio State already had special plans for Saturday’s game, as the Buckeyes will sport an alternate, all-gray uniform against Penn State.

Saturday’s game is a battle for B1G East supremacy and could have potential College Football Playoff implications, so it’s understandable that the student section would want to create an extremely hostile environment for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State and Ohio State are scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on FOX.
