One of the most beloved members of Michigan’s football program from the past three seasons is leaving his post.
Kori Reblin, or better known as “Cordy,” is moving on from his position as an assistant equipment manager to a job with the Buffalo Bills. If that description doesn’t resonate, Reblin is the guy that has tended to the cord on Jim Harbaugh’s headset the past three seasons.
Hence the nickname “Cordy.”
On Wednesday evening, Reblin sent out a message on Twitter announcing that he is leaving Michigan and has accepted a position in the NFL with the Bills. He thanked the fans, players and coaches in his tweet.

Most head coaches use a wireless headset on the sidelines these days, but after some malfunctions during Harbaugh’s Michigan debut against Utah in 2015, the head coach has shifted to an old-school model. That has required someone on the sideline to ensure the cord doesn’t get tangled or cause a hazard.
For the past three seasons, tending that cord has been one of Reblin’s many tasks with the program.
While he may not get a ton of attention or recognition for his contributions, Reblin will surely be missed by Harbaugh, the Michigan coaching staff and, of course, the maize and blue faithful.
