Jack Cichy’s season-ending injury was one of the more disappointing B1G stories of the offseason.
After missing a chunk of the 2016 season, the Wisconsin linebacker was due to be one of the conference’s top defensive stars and was expected to be an All-B1G type of player. But close to the start of the season, Cichy suffered an ACL tear and was ruled out for the 2017 campaign.
“You hate it for Jack,” head coach Paul Chryst said after the injury. “You only get so many chances to play this game and you never want to see a guy miss any of those opportunities.”
It’s been a long season for Cichy, but he’s been working hard on his recovery and has been taking everything “day by day.”
Recently, Cichy talked about his injury and the recover process. Below is the video provided by Wisconsin football.
