The Michigan State football team had to make the 239-mile journey to Evanston, Illinois by bus, after  plane trouble forced them to take an alternate transportation option. The Spartans face Northwestern at 3:30 p.m EST on Saturday.

Instead of arriving around 2 p.m. local time for its Friday walkthrough, the Spartans didn’t make it to Evanston until around 7 p.m.

The Spartans, who are surprisingly in the Big Ten East Division race, are looking to win their fifth straight game. Michigan State (6-1, 4-0) has only been 5-0 in Big Ten play four times in program history.
