Davison Igbinosun, Ole Miss CB transfer, announces Big Ten destination

Davison Igbinosun has found his new program, and the former Ole Miss cornerback is headed to the Big Ten.
Igbinosun announced a commitment to Ohio State after he was considered one of the top players remaining in the transfer portal. The 6-foot-2 and 185-pounder from Union, New Jersey will have 3 years of eligibility remaining.
Igbinosun chose Ohio State over Michigan, UCLA and Tennessee.
As a true freshman during the 2022 season, Igbinosun played in all 13 games for the Rebels. He finished with 37 total tackles and 5 pass deflections, which tied for second among Ole Miss defenders.

Coming out of high school, Igbinosun was an All-American Bowl selection out of high school, and was a 4-star prospect and ranked as the No. 124 player nationally, No. 17 cornerback and No. 1 player in New Jersey. He chose Igbinosun chose Ole Miss over Rutgers, Tennessee and Kentucky.
