Tom Brady recently announced his retirement from the NFL for a second time. This time around, there will be no reversal from the all-time great quarterback.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brady has filed his retirement with a letter to the NFL and NFLPA to confirm his Feb. 1 retirement. That move puts to bed the idea about whether or not Brady could change his might and play in 2023. It also signifies Brady will officially be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028.

Brady infamously retired after the 2021 season but that did not last long. He would have an about-face and played the 2022 season.
While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would win the NFC South, the team finished the regular season with an 8-9 record. As for his storybook career, Brady holds nearly every major record for a QB and is a 7-time Super Bowl champ who will undoubtedly enter the Hall of Fame in his first year on the ballot.
