Kirk Herbstreit believes former Michigan defensive lineman Frank Clark has a major role to play in the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Clark is an NFL veteran who is now in his 8th NFL season, including his 4th in Kansas City. He recorded 8 tackles for loss and 5 sacks this season for the Chifs.

Herbstreit predicted on Sunday afternoon that Clark — along with Isiah Pacheco, De’Vonta Smith and Javon Hargrave — will play a “pivotal role” in the outcome of the Super Bowl.

Clark has played a major role in the Chiefs getting to the Super Bowl this season. He has been credited with 2.5 sacks, 3 tackles for loss and 4 QB hits during Kansas City’s first 2 postseason games.

Michigan will be well-represented in this year’s Super Bowl. Mike Danna, Chad Henne and Brandon Graham are the other ex-Wolverines who will be playing in this game.

Clark was a 2nd round pick out of Michigan in the 2015 NFL Draft.
