College wrestling rankings, Feb. 14: Penn State maintains No. 1 spot after capturing B1G title

College wrestling rankings are getting updated with a new NWCA Coaches Poll dropping on Valentine’s Day. To no surprise, Penn State remains the top team in the country with the B1G slate wrapping up.

Over the weekend, the Nittany Lions dominated Rutgers and Maryland to complete their regular-season B1G title. Penn State finishes the conference slate with a perfect 8-0 dual meet record and an overall 15-0 record in the regular season.

On the latest NWCA Coaches Poll, Penn State captured all 14 first-place votes available. Iowa — who is 14-1 on the season with only a loss to Penn State — checked in at No. 2.
