Leo Chenal, former Wisconsin LB, scales parade bus during Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration

Leo Chenal just wrapped up his rookie season with the Kansas City Chiefs in grand fashion as he became a Super Bowl champion on Sunday.

On Wednesday, the Chiefs held their Super Bowl parade near downtown Kansas City. Surprisingly, Chenal — and his incredible athleticism — produced one of the more incredible moments of the afternoon.

During the parade, Chenal found himself on the ground rather than on a bus with his teammates. While the bus was stopped on the road, Chenal decided to jump up the side of it and pull himself into the players’ area.

Chenal was a very productive linebacker at Wisconsin. In his final year with the Badgers, he recorded 115 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 8 sacks. He was ultimately a 3rd round pick by the Chiefs in the 2022 NFL Draft.

As a rookie, Chenal played in all 17 regular season games and made 8 starts. He was credited with 35 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 3 quarterback hits.

Chenal made 6 tackles and 1 sack against the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
