Purdue is once again the No. 1 overall seed in Joe Lunardi’s bracketology projection.

The Boilermakers took back the top spot following No. 1 Alabama’s loss to Tennessee on Wednesday night. With an undefeated week, Purdue could also re-claim the No. 1 spot in the AP Poll on Monday.

However, Purdue does need to win on the road at Maryland on Thursday night in order to keep the top seed, per Lunardi.

Here’s his analysis on the bracket heading into Thursday’s slate:

Purdue has lost 2 of its last 3 games, including to Northwestern over the weekend. Both of those losses came on the road. The Boilermakers haven’t lost at home since Jan. 2.

Purdue is still clinging to a 2-game lead in the Big Ten standings. Northwestern, fresh off of a win over Indiana on Wednesday night, is in 2nd place.

The Boilermakers are 23-3 overall this season. They’ll face the Terrapins in College Park at 6:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
