The B1G has announced the Players of the Week following the ninth week of the season.

A few of these decisions were incredibly easy for the B1G this week as a few players posted some really special performances. At some positions, though, the decision might’ve been a little tougher.

Here are the Players of the Week following Week 9:

It’s no surprise that J.T. Barrett was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week after completing 33-of-39 passes for 328 yards and four touchdowns. He also had a team-high 95 rushing yards in Ohio State’s 39-38 win over Penn State.

Paddy Fisher racked up tackles left and right in Northwestern’s triple overtime victory over Michigan State. He totaled 17 stops on Saturday, including 14 solo tackles.

Another Player of the Week honor for Penn State’s Saquon Barkley, this time on special teams. To open Saturday’s game against the Buckeyes, the all-purpose back took the kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.

The B1G named two receivers co-Freshman Player of the Week after sensational performances in Week 9. Indiana’s Whop Philyor and Michigan State’s Cody White earned honors after setting freshman school receiving records. Philyor had 13 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown while White had 165 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions.
