Wisconsin could be without its best offensive player this Saturday against Indiana.

On Monday morning, an injury report from Wisconsin was sent out and star running back Jonathan Taylor was listed as questionable for this weekend’s matchup. He left last week’s game against Illinois with a left leg injury.

Though Taylor wasn’t officially ruled out last weekend after departing from the game, he never returned to the field. He finished the day with 73 yards on 12 carries.

Taylor is currently the B1G’s leading rusher with 1,185 yards and 11 touchdowns. The freshman is averaging 148.1 yards per game and 7.4 yards per carry. He’s eclipsed the 100-yard mark five times this season.

Wisconsin still has some weapons out of the backfield, including Bradrick Shaw, who missed some time earlier this season due to injury. But losing Taylor would be a significant blow heading into Week 10.

Taylor is one of eight Badgers listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against Indiana.
