Everyone was tuning in for Saturday’s top 10 clash between Penn State and Ohio State.

Aft the games, the official Twitter account of Fox Sports Communications and Public Relations tweeted out that the matchup between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes  broke the ratings record for a regular season college football game.

Ohio State overcame a 21-3 deficit to knock off Penn State in Columbus.

The game recorded a 6.4 overnight rating and grew to 9.0 late in the game. It was the second-best rating for any regular season college football game this season for any network.

Just as the fans in Columbus celebrated the victory all night, folks at FOX Sports are probably celebrating that decision to become more involved with providing B1G football coverage this season.
