Trayce Jackson-Davis has surpassed his head coach on the all-time scoring list at the University of Indiana.

With the below bucket, Jackson-Davis moved to No. 5 all time, passing Mike Woodson’s mark of 2,061 points. Next up for Jackson-Davis is AJ Gyton, who has 2,100 career points. Jackson-Davis is likely to pass that by the end of next week.

He surpassed his head coach is style, too. The star center is up to 9 points against Illinois as we near the end of the first half.

Indiana has found a new groove as of late, thanks in part to Jackson-Davis and star freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino. They dropped a close contest to a red-hot Northwestern squad Wednesday, but have won 3 of their last 4 and 8 of their last 10, earning their No. 14 ranking.
