Hunter Dickinson came up clutch in the final moments of regulation in Michigan’s overtime win over Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon.

The Wolverines were down by 3 with just 2.1 seconds remaining. A loss would have likely ended Michigan’s hopes of earning an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Dickinson fought off tough defense on the in-bounds pass and was able to set his feet and get a shot off.

The result? Overtime in Ann Arbor.

Michigan went on to win the game 87-79 in overtime. The Wolverines are now 17-12 on the season and 11-7 in Big Ten play. They’ve also won 3 straight games and 6 of their last 8 contests.

Dickinson finished the game with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Michigan’s back court combination of Kobe Bufkin and Dug McDaniel each scored 20+ points, with Bufkin pouring in a game-high 28. Jett Howard did not play in this game due to an injury.

Michigan is still considered to be on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. However, the Wolverines still have opportunities to improve their résumé. They have regular season games remaining vs. Illinois and Indiana, as well as the Big Ten Tournament.

Michigan plays at Illinois on Thursday.
