Caitlin Clark leads Iowa to semifinals of Big Ten Tournament

Caitlin Clark scored 22 points, including 12 in the 4th quarter, to help lead Iowa passed Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament on Friday night.

Clark also added 8 rebounds and 4 assists. She was efficient in the 2nd half, which helped Iowa pull away for a 69-58 victory.

However, this wasn’t an easy game for Clark. She struggled from the field in the 1st half and was assessed a technical foul after complaining to an official.

Clark, of course, rebounded. She hit this transition 3-pointer to put Iowa up 60-44 with just over 5 minutes remaining in the game. It was 1 of 2 shots from long range that she hit in the 4th quarter:

Iowa is the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and is expected to have a rematch with Indiana in the final this weekend. Iowa defeated the Hoosiers in the regular season finale last week on a buzzer-beater from Clark.

But first, Iowa will face either Illinois or Maryland in the semifinals on Saturday.
