The AP Men’s Basketball Poll is getting updated as teams have put the finishing touches on the regular season!
After conference tournaments and Selection Sunday, Alabama is back on top at No. 1 in the country and the top overall seed for the NCAA Tournament. Houston fell out of the top spot to No. 2.
Purdue — the B1G’s top team and winners of a dramatic Big Ten Tournament championship — climbed up to No. 3 on the final poll. The Boilermakers were also able to land a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament with Kansas landing the final No. 1 seed on the bracket.
As for the rest of the B1G, Indiana was the only other team to make an appearance on the final AP Poll at No. 21. Penn State and Northwestern did land in the “others receiving votes” section.
