The Ohio State women’s water polo team threw some massive shade Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes’ football program on Saturday.

The water polo team — which is identified as a club sport at Ohio State — got a 20-2 win over Wisconsin this weekend. It just so happened they got the victory the same day that Meyer and the Buckeyes were walloped 55-24 by Iowa at Kinnick Stadium.

After both games were completed, the women’s water polo team let Meyer and the football team know just how much of it a disappointment the outcome was on Saturday.

The official Twitter account of the polo team tweeted “OSU Scarlet beats Wisconsin 20-2. At least one Ohio State team knows how to win.” Meyer was also tagged in the tweet.

The tweet didn’t have a long shelf life, as it was deleted after getting a little bit of traction. The Ohio State women’s water polo Twitter page was also set to private.

Saturday’s loss to Iowa was a disappointment, but that was a pretty cheap shot at Meyer and his squad. Especially when it comes from another team on campus.
