Jadyn Davis is taking his talents to Michigan.
The 5-star quarterback announced his commitment to play for Jim Harbaugh’s program on Friday. He revealed the big news on “SportsCenter.”
Davis has picked up 32 scholarship offers during his recruitment, narrowing his finalists down to Michigan, Ohio State, Clemson, North Carolina and Tennessee.
QB Jadyn Davis committed to #Michigan. He’s the first ESPN 300 QB for the Wolverines since JJ McCarthy signed in ‘21.

Out of the Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, Davis is listed at over 6 feet and 202 pounds. Davis is rated 5-stars, the No. 4 quarterback and No. 28 prospect overall in 2024 on the 247Sports Composite.
Impact of Michigan landing Davis
In college football recruiting, it doesn’t get any bigger than landing a 5-star quarterback. There’s a lot for the Wolverine family to be celebrating with Davis on board.
Quarterback is the most important position on a team, so (obviously) it’s significant to land one of the most talented prospects that plays the position. Quarterbacks are team leaders on the field, and on the recruiting trail.
Davis will attract more blue-chip talent to Ann Arbor. Players of all positions, on both sides of the ball, notice where 5-star quarterbacks are heading.
Recruiting visits are starting to pick up, but March is still relatively early in the 2024 cycle. Expect Davis to make frequent trips to U-M as Harbaugh and his staff host top targets over the next few months. Coaches are professional recruiters, but recruits listen to each other and see where they’re going.
